  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Must-Haves:

  • 1-2 years experience in the Pre-Award space.

  • Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both senior and junior PIs.

  • Experience submitting grants

  • Experience proposing guidelines for compliance

  • Experience working in the federal grants space with organizations such as NIH, NSF, DOD, and their corresponding platforms (ASSIST, Research.gov, EBRAP, SF 424).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRA (Certified Research Administrator)
  • CPRA (Certified Pre-Award Research Administrator)

  • CFRA (Certified Financial Research Administrator)

  • Experience with an affiliated university

Day to Day:

A healthcare clients is seeking dedicated Pre-Award Specialists to join their Research Administration team. The Pre-Award Specialist will work to initiate grants and secure funding for a variety of Principal Investigators (PIs). As the subject matter expert for all necessary grant requirements, the Pre-Award Specialist will provide direct support to the PIs throughout the grant submission process, ensuring compliance with the requirements of various funding organizations such as NIH, DOD, and NSF.
