Python Developer (Microservices)

Job Description:

Python Developer with expertise in microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, experience with microservices design and implementation, and a passion for building scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance microservices-based applications using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• System Architecture:
• Design and implement scalable and robust microservices architecture to support application requirements.
• Ensure the architecture is modular, reusable, and efficient.
• API Development:
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between microservices and other systems.
• Optimize APIs for performance and scalability.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Deployment & Monitoring:
• Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in production.
• Documentation:
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and architecture.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in microservices and Python development.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Python and frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and API management tools.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and serverless architectures is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
