Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
Job Summary: The Warehouse Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, logistics optimization, safety protocol implementation, and cost-effective strategies. This role involves hands-on management, with a focus on positive employee relations, safety, continuous process improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture. This position is essential for ensuring the efficiency and safe operation of the warehouse.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises the Inbound Shift Manager, Outbound Shift Manager, Route Check-In Specialist, and Overnight Shift Lead.
- Provides leadership and direction for the main functions of the SCP warehouse team.
- Responsible for leading the warehouse team to achieve high levels of performance through employee engagement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages all functions and processes related to warehouse operations.
- Oversees inbound and outbound warehouse activities, inventory management, facility cleanliness, and organization.
- Responsible for the overall performance and maintenance of the outbound conveyor system, including technical support and spare parts inventory.
- Cultivates a culture of safety and ensures employees follow safe practices.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards in warehouse operations, maintaining regulatory documentation.
- Ensures compliance with key performance indicators and inventory control procedures.
- Manages inventory processes, including purchase orders, cycle counts, route check-ins, and quarterly physical inventory counts.
- Drives productivity improvements and cost-reduction initiatives while managing day-to-day warehouse activities to meet strategic objectives.
- Develops, manages, and is accountable for budgeting costs.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing warehouse processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Performs other assigned duties (e.g., flexible hours/days to support operations).

- Operational & Warehouse Management: Expertise in large-scale warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Capable of managing day-to-day operations while aligning with long-term business goals.
- Process Improvement & Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and resolving complex warehousing challenges in real time.
- Knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other inventory control systems.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and aerial lifts.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to build positive cross-functional relationships and provide clear, consistent messaging.
- Multitasking & Prioritization: Able to handle multiple high-priority tasks effectively, prioritizing and delegating to achieve operational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong analytical skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience in managing production, logistics, operations, or distribution, or 7 years of professional experience in a similar or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sustain physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work on your feet all day.
