Local Orlando candidates only. The position is in an office position, not remote.
Database Business Analyst will design and develop reporting infrastructure in support of company goals collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of business initiatives.
Reports to: IT Director
Work Hours: 8:30-5:00 PM Monday through Friday
Works with:
Staff members that have software or hardware questions
External Data Providers
External licensed database vendors
External Business Partners
Duties:
- Create and Maintain Azure and Local Microsoft SQL databases
- Analyze purchase data to assist staff in sales and marketing efforts.
- Relational database design and maintenance
- Assist in multiple types of report generations for various sources support off-site employee laptop, tablet, and telephone requirements
- Organize and Catalog system documentation for easy access and review
- Assist in Office 365 user maintenance
- Server Maintenance Helping with Windows server including adding/deleting users, maintaining backups and server configuration.
Knowledge and Skills
- Crystal Reports and SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of Cloud environments (Azure) and associated tools
- SQL Server Management Studio
- PowerBI knowledge a plus
- Programming languages (VBA, Powershell and Scripting Languages)
- Interest in learning and training to enhance system knowledge and skills
- Functional knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows servers and ability to configure and troubleshoot Local area
- Networks and attached devices (ex., printers, PC s, and servers)
Qualifications
- MySQL: 1 Year (Required)
- Database administration: 1 year (Required)
- Data analyst skills: 1 year (Required)
- Crystal reports skills: 1 year (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
