AirPro Diagnostics is announcing a unique opportunity to join our team in Jacksonville Florida.

Our patented ADAS device is used to perform advanced ADAS calibrations. ADAS is required to properly perform FFC (Forward Facing Camera) ADAS calibrations to vehicle manufacturer s specifications. We are looking for an experienced automotive ADAS technicians to join our ADAS Team. The ADAS Calibration Specialist is responsible to guarantee ADAS Systems performance and set core performance targets within their competence area. They are also responsible for competitive vehicle assessments, and technical requirement management for ADAS features on production and future vehicle applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Calibrates, performs function tests, and certifies individual ADAS units for any bugs/malfunctions or inconsistencies before shipment to client
  • Locate, acquire, measure, and test brand new vehicle models to add to vehicle database
  • Assist internal and external customers by remotely calibrating vehicles with the product
  • Assist MFG Department in shipping, handling, and receiving of units to be shipped out and units that are returned
  • Provides phone and on-line diagnostic support to collision and/or other repair shops to aid in the diagnostic scans and subsequent interpretations of any resulting codes.
  • He/she will perform functions while connected remotely to our scan tool that is connected directly to the vehicle at the collision shop.
  • These functions include - code and data reading, programming, bi-directional testing, diagnostic assistance, component re-learns, configurations, coding, calibrations and code clearing.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • (5) Five or more years performing hands on automotive repairs
  • (2) Two or more years as a diagnostic master/lead technician
  • (1) One year experience working calibrations
  • (1) One year of experience working directly with customers
  • Current or previous ASE or OEM certifications
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
