We're seeking a talented engineer who will lead the charge in Architecting, Engineering, Integration, Configuration, Operation, Administration, and Maintenance.
In this role, you'll tackle stimulating challenges that demand advanced root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and top-tier user technical support skills. You'll be at the forefront of detection and optimization.
You will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure framework, conducting vital system health checks, status updates, and security monitoring and analysis. You'll also manage audit log aggregation routing and reduction and ensure HPC health status and metric monitoring and analysis. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining compliance frameworks.
This position isn't just about technical prowess it's about collaboration and innovation. You'll work closely with our customer and key stakeholders, advising on multifaceted approaches, and crafting effective use cases. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding Systems Engineering technical considerations and modernization.

What you will do...
- Perform systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server environments.
- Provide technical guidance in software engineering methods and automated support tools.
- Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
- Develop required program-level and user-level documentation.
- Perform technical evaluations and analysis.
- Support the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline.
- Assess server loads and work with technical leads to develop tuning recommendations.
- Provide exceptional Linux Administration support.
- Provide operational pager/phone duty support.
- Execute day-to-day operations & maintenance tasks.
- Manage operating system software updates, upgrades, and patches.
- Experience using Linux including Red Hat and its derivatives (centOS, RHEL, RockyOS)
- Experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line.
- Experience providing Linux Administration support.
- Experience providing engineering infrastructure support .
- Eleven (11) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.
- Experience with the following languages: Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP.
- Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests and Foreman).
- Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS and SaaS.
