Description

The Graphic Designer will, by hand and using computer software, prepare technical and non-technical visual presentations through designing art and copy layouts for publication. This role requires a highly skilled professional with experience in delivering innovative design solutions, capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage creative projects, delivering high-quality visual content that aligns with MetroNational and Memorial City Branding
  • Create high-impact visual solutions including print and digital media
  • Design and develop visual social presentations for advertising and promotions, social communities, and brand websites
  • Ensure that design elements are appropriate for the intended audience and are compatible with the overall brand image and brand integrity
  • Work with Experience Team members to ensure brand consistency across all design projects
  • Collaborate with teams and other departments to create visual content that supports overall business objectives
  • Stay updated on design trends and integrate fresh ideas into projects.
  • Help maintain social media networks, websites, and online communities to connect with customers, fans, and peers
  • Use visual and written language effectively
  • Research and identify new trends in the marketplace, to create innovative advertising pieces. Follow current social media trends and innovations for new planning.
  • Gather project and design objectives, analyze company branding, and conceptualize creative solutions
  • Identify client/consumer needs and set design standards for presentations, sales materials, websites, social medias, etc.
  • Create photo, animation and video content for social media applications
  • Create promotional materials, including logos, postcards, invitations, posters, brand templates for campaigns
  • Create mockups and prototypes using Adobe Creative Suite and photo-editing software, and present final designs for approval
  • Review and ensure the quality of all design outputs, making sure they meet brand and design standards
  • Produce final files ready for printing, managing print vendors, and maintaining budgets.


Requirements

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, advertising, journalism, or related field
  • 4+ years’ proven experience of high-quality work


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have Experience with Brand identity development
  • Experienced in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Website back-end coding experience or splash page development/creation is preferred
  • Experienced content creator with a focus on developing content for social and digital marketing
  • Preferred experience with Web Design.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of layout, graphic design, visual hierarchy, web design, photography, and videography
  • Experience designing creative layouts for print and online publications, and print collateral for new developments
  • Knowledge of photography, illustration, typography and videography
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Canva
  • Experience in motion graphics, video editing and animation
