Global Science & Technology, Inc. (GST), is seeking an individual to work as a TraCSS Program Manager Coordinator in supporting NOAA's Office of Space Commerce (OSC) Traffic Coordination System for the Space (TraCSS) program.
This position is in the Washington, DC, area, but a limited hybrid model of onsite and telework is temporarily approved.
Position Summary:
This candidate will provide program tracking, analysis, and management support for the NOAA OSC TraCSS program manager.
Primary Duties:
- Maintain and update SmartSheet applications.
- Help define, track, and manage schedules, risk items, and open program actions.
- Serve as the lead for program documentation configuration control.
- Work with the graphics team to ensure presentation materials are prepared, configurable, and up to date.
- Track deliverables and devise, manage, and maintain a filing, storage, and documentation system for the TraCSS program documentation.
- Oversee logistics and organize the scheduling and execution of monthly TraCSS webinars
- Gather and evaluate feedback from webinars
- Manage and update the TraCSS engagement calendar
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Agile framework
Adherence to Agile Principles:
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and values, promoting practices such as iterative development, continuous feedback, and adaptive planning to deliver high-quality products.
Project Scheduling and Tracking:
- Update and monitor project schedules utilizing Smartsheet, Jira, or other project management tools. Verify all tasks and milestones are clearly defined, assigned, and tracked.
Proficiency with Project Management Tools:
- Utilize project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate team collaboration. Ensure the efficient use of these tools to streamline project workflows.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- B.S. degree in a technical field, e.g., engineering, computer science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with project analysis and/or management.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Experience with Smartsheet, TraCSS (previously Open Architecture Data Repository OADR), and configuration management.
- Prior NOAA, NASA, or DOC experience is a plus.
- Current or previous security clearance preferred.
- Public trust determination will be required.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) is required.
