Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will independently manage projects and programs exceeding $10M in total cost. You will lead project teams of over ten members, handling multidiscipline projects with high complexity, risk, and financial investment. Your responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities, establishing priorities, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all project aspects within your scope. You will direct multidisciplinary project teams, stay updated on new technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements to project management processes. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, coordinate with finance and project controls, and mentor other project managers. You will also act as a supervisor or manager when required.

Must Have:
- Active PMP Certification
Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
- Oversee all aspects of project implementation, including budget management, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution.
- Develop and track project budgets, ensuring proper progress through regular interface with clients, engineers, related parties, and management.
- Develop and manage contracts, interface with vendors, and create project schedules to manage risk, track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float.
- Mentor less experienced project managers and prepare/deliver communications to various groups, including senior management.
- Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects.
- Provide outage support, including OCC.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 20 years of experience in a technical field; OR
- AA/AS degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 22 years of experience in a technical field; OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 24 years of experience in a technical field.
- An advanced degree in a related field or business may substitute for two years of experience.
- RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification is required.
- Project Management certification is required.
Nice to Have Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree in a related field or business.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Construction Management Certification.
- Extensive experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focusing on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction.
- Experience in nuclear plant operator production coordination and work management.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of error reduction, human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies.
- Experience managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage activities.
- Advanced project management techniques at commercial nuclear power plants or similar facilities.
Desired Abilities and Skills:
- Management experience.
- Diverse assignment experience.
- Participation in industry committees or external audits/assessments.
- Proficiency in project management and budget process software.
- Ability to evaluate organizational, personal, technical, and maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and performance.
- Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, and project activities.
- Proficiency in software programs such as Passport and MS Office.
