Position Summary:
Curio Bioscience is seeking an experienced Midwest-based sales professional to develop the large market opportunity in the Midwest region of the US. The role of the Account Executive is to ensure achievement of sales objectives through both strategic and tactical activities. The executive will be responsible for building and executing sales plans and contributing regularly with market insights and reconnaissance. This position works closely as a partner with the technical support and marketing teams to help ensure customer success and market awareness. In this role, you will:
- Meet/exceed sales targets through development and execution of sales plan
- Build and present a quarterly plan of action and provide regular sales forecasts
- Effectively prospect to generate new sales leads and build the sales opportunity pipeline
- Successfully navigate and manage sales negotiations of a premium product
- Deliver technology and applications overview presentations
- Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization
- Engage in collaborative sales process with demonstrated command of technical and scientific knowledge
- Maintain account management and sales pipeline development in company CRM
- Provide regular reporting on market insights and customer feedback
- Work in collaboration with colleagues to translate market insight and knowledge into compelling positioning, marketing communications, and competitive selling strategies
- Partner with technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction in pre and post-sales situations
- Contribute to building the positive culture of a fast-growing company
You have:
- Life science degree with relevant technical and scientific background (NGS or SCRNAseq)
- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience in multilayered environment
- Proven experience with key industrial and academic accounts in specified region
- Strong desire to win business and establish long term relationships
- Demonstrated track record in prospecting and lead generation
- High motivation and proven prior success, with preference for fast-paced, agile environment
- Team orientation with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent listening, written and verbal skills
- Solid organizational skills and ability to set priorities/manage time effectively
- Adaptability and capacity to operate independently
- Ability to travel at least 50%

The Base Salary Range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Curio Bioscience considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
