About the Job

Were looking for a talented Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting a U.S. Government program in Pensacola, FL. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations in a network environment designed to safeguard against emerging cyber threats. Youll perform a variety of technical tasks, with a hybrid work schedule, supporting both on-site and remote teams.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on system health, analyzing data to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct remote software installations and manage user account setups, password resets, and drive access permissions.
  • Use engineering manuals and documentation to execute tasks with precision.
  • Collaborate with team members, leveraging various platforms to ensure all technical issues are effectively resolved and reported.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant technical support experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in M365, Call Distribution Systems, VMware, Red Hat, and Windows (10, 11).
  • Problem-Solving: Experience documenting solutions and handling technical assistance tasks.
  • Shift Work: Willingness to work a designated shift schedule.
