SUMMARY OF POSITION:
i3 Verticals is looking for a for Technical Lead, with an emphasis in web application development, who has demonstrated an interest in leading a team of experts. This role is responsible for helping define and manage the overall technical project operations and the successful delivery of client work. A team lead works with project managers, architects, and developers. The main objective of this role is to drive excellent project outcomes that align with defined scope, timeline, and budget on projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience accurately estimating work, revising estimates, and providing options to technical challenges.
- Manage the execution of project and task assignments with developers and the PM team.
- Serve as the primary subject matter advisor on tech related matters and provide guidance to developers. To work closely with architects to define the scope of technical requirements.
- Establish and implement key best practices in coding, application development, tech architecture design and technical documentation.
- Custodian for system architecture, codes, and test plans.
- Monitor program performance; resolve impediments; develop and implement solutions for driving improvement.
- Coordinate schedule execution and plan program-wide software/architecture releases.
- Managing to daily, weekly, and monthly targets, reporting on performance, and coordinating with Product Management on roll-up reporting. Direct cross-team partnership in development, testing, and deployment efforts.
- Being transparent with the team and stakeholders about challenges, failures, and successes.
- Conducting regular software demonstrations for stakeholders, as new features are released.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor s degree
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a team lead, development, and planning scope.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to team members in different fields.
- Proficiency with API, microservices and event-based software development
- Expertise in technologies such as Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Testing frameworks, Code Quality and Security Scanning tools.
- Working knowledge with AWS services and integrations.
- Experience with authentication protocols and services like Okta, OAuth, Azure AD, or Ping.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.
- Documentation tools like Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
- AWS Certifications.
