Job Title: QA Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $60/hr - W2 ONLY
Contract Length: 12+ Months
Job Summary: The QA Analyst III will play a key role in ensuring high-quality standards across projects by developing, executing, and maintaining effective testing strategies and methodologies. This role will involve reviewing business requirements, identifying areas to be tested, developing test scenarios, and documenting results. The QA Analyst III will work closely with Product Owners, Lead Testers, and team members to ensure testing meets entry and exit criteria and aligns with project goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements to identify areas for testing and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Define, collect, and document test data requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain and retire test cases and test scripts at the conclusion of work efforts, ensuring traceability between test cases/scripts and requirements.
- Ensure testing results are accessible and maintain clear release notes and execution results for Lead Testers and Product Owners.
- Adhere to established testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with the Test Lead to review test, validation, and pilot results, ensuring compliance with entry and exit criteria.
- Develop framework components and reusable functions for automation and performance testing.
- Create and maintain user documentation and script maintenance instructions for automation and performance testing scripts.
- Utilize Tosca for test automation; Tosca experience is preferred, or certification is required within 6 months of employment.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Strong experience in creating and managing test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
- Proficiency with test management tools and tracking software for defect identification and resolution.
- Experience with Tosca or commitment to obtain certification within the first 6 months.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
