V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Construction QA/QC Manager for our premier Downers Grove Illinois.



Education and Experience

• Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrate a professional demeanor Valid driver's license with good motor vehicle record.

Knowledge and Skills

• Contractor shall designate a quality control manager who will always be on-site while the work is in progress and will have the authority and responsibility to inspect, accept, or reject items of work and materials.
• Contractors' convenience testing - inspection and testing performed exclusively for contractors' convenience shall be the sole responsibility of contractor.
• Contractors' quality control manager will attend the weekly owner A/E contractor progress

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-construction meetings with new and existing subcontractors and the superintendent at least two days prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues that affect quality
• Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems Maintain the project "as-built" drawings daily.
• Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
