Physical Security Analyst
Summary
This Security analyst will monitor, assess, and respond to cyber threats and incidents affecting the organization's network and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions and policies to enhance the security posture and resilience of the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of physical security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and analyze security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Collaborate with the Security Manager to investigate security incidents and breaches, document findings and provide recommendations.
- Participate in the design and execution of physical security training programs for staff.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, access logs, and equipment maintenance.
- Support emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure readiness.
- Assist with vendor management including coordinating with external security service providers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Security or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of physical security concepts, practices, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently as well as on a team.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a security-related role.
