Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with Java development experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and Java development to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role involves developing automated tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and related testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and design test cases for both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites.
  • Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing.
  • Identify, document, and report defects in the tracking system, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated test integration.
  • Review requirements and design documents to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans and test reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in testing tools, technologies, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in QA automation testing with hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and test management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
