Our client is looking for an IT M365 Technical Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager for a 12 month contract role located in Sacramento, CA. This role has a high chance of extensions. Local candidates are preferred.

responsibilities:
The M365 Governance team is seeking a well-rounded M365 professional who can work with Customers, Enterprise Support and Microsoft to govern and implement features in an M365 government tenant.
The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of all features and functions in M365 and be well versed to provide implementation advice and best practices. In addition, the ideal candidate will have some depth of knowledge of M365 tenant administration, particularly around SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams and will be able to participate in implementing select solutions. The ideal candidate will also be an accomplished project manager/business analyst capable of eliciting and documenting requirements, creating project documents such as a proposal and schedule, and lead the project to a successful conclusion. This candidate will also support the current M365 project manager, providing technical expertise and assisting in adoption and championing the product.
This position will also be responsible for reviewing the Microsoft roadmap for M365, identifying changes that need attention, and addressing those changes with the appropriate support teams and customers.
This position will also be responsible for identifying and documenting, in a central repository, the tenant settings as they affect end user features, participate in the workflow to review settings when needed, and help determine setting changes when features change, or new features are introduced. PowerShell scripting is a plus.
PowerApps development is a plus.
PowerBI dashboard development is a plus.
