Pay Range: $84.92 - $90.34//hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gainsight Support and Troubleshooting: Act as Tier 2 support for Gainsight, handling escalated issues from business users. Diagnose and resolve system-related problems within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Documentation and Process Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, customizations, and processes within Gainsight. Ensure documentation is updated regularly to reflect any system changes or enhancements for reference and audit purposes.
  • Patch Releases and Environment Management: Coordinate with technical teams to manage major patch releases and code changes to the production environment. Conduct regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify that updates and changes do not disrupt existing functionality.
  • Configuration and Customization:
  • New Object and Field Creation: Design and create new data objects and fields as required by business operations, enabling enhanced data capture and reporting capabilities within the system.
  • Automation Rules: Build and configure rule-based automations in Gainsight, enabling streamlined workflows and optimized system functionality.
  • Page Layouts: Configure company and relationship page layouts to ensure users have easy access to relevant information and tools.
  • Integrations: Set up and maintain integrations with other systems, enabling seamless data flow between Gainsight and external platforms.
  • CTA (Call-to-Action) Management: Configure CTAs, playbooks, and success plans, ensuring they align with business goals and operational needs.
  • Permission Sets and User Access: Manage and customize permission sets for different user roles, ensuring that users have appropriate access to features and data.
  • Timeline Configurations: Set up and manage the timeline feature to support efficient tracking and management of interactions and activities.
  • Enhancement and New Feature Implementation: Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and vendors to implement new features and enhancements. Ensure that changes are aligned with the strategic objectives of the business and effectively support user needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Gainsight, SFDC, Configuration, Gainsight Administrator, Requirement Gathering, front-end configurations and back-end configurations.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience with Gainsight implementation, configuration, and support. Strong background in adapting Gainsight functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the Gainsight system, including both front-end configurations and back-end functionality.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification: Gainsight certified administrator preferred.
  • Global Experience: Proven experience in supporting global sales and support teams, demonstrating the ability to work effectively across regions and time zones.
  • Business Requirement Gathering: Strong skills in gathering and interpreting business requirements to implement appropriate solutions and enhancements in Gainsight.
  • Testing Leadership: Hands-on experience with unit testing, UAT, and regression testing, ensuring that system changes meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Technical Insight: Solid understanding of Gainsight's technical aspects, with the ability to assess and address system impacts from changes or enhancements.
  • CRM Integration: Experience with CRM platforms such as SFDC (Salesforce) and/or Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring smooth integration and data flow between systems.
  • Business Process Support: Familiarity with supporting business processes, particularly those related to customer success, sales, and support operations.
  • Configuration: Expertise in setting up and customizing Gainsight to align with business processes.
  • Modification: Ability to modify system settings, user interfaces, and workflows to optimize Gainsight functionality.
  • Implementation and Testing: Skilled in planning and executing system implementations, testing protocols, and ongoing support measures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills for engaging with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Strong collaboration skills to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Problem Solving and Multitasking: Adept at handling complex issues and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in configurations, documentation, and system changes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze system requirements and propose effective configurations and solutions that meet business needs.
