SQA Group is thrilled to be partnering with a top client to support the development of cutting-edge technology solutions, and we are in search of a meticulous and skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in both manual testing and crafting automated regression tests for execution within a CI/CD pipeline during software deployments. Success in this role requires sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive commitment to upholding software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed manual testing on new functionalities, bug resolutions, and system improvements to maintain high standards in product releases.
- Create and maintain automated regression tests, integrated directly into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and reliable deployments.
- Partner with the DevOps team to ensure smooth execution of automated tests within the CI/CD process during releases.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on requirements and user stories, executing these to verify software integrity.
- Document, track, and manage defects through established bug-tracking tools, collaborating with developers to resolve issues effectively.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide feedback, and drive high-quality software delivery.
Critical Success Factors:
- In-depth experience in manual testing, covering functional, usability, and regression.
- Skilled in designing automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, with expertise in embedding automated tests into the deployment pipeline.
- Strong understanding of programming languages like C# or Python to support test script development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills paired with high attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication to document and convey testing outcomes and defect insights.
- Effective in both autonomous work and within a team-focused setting.
