Project Overview:
Mako Professionals is preparing a specialized SAP consulting team for a significant implementation project within the healthcare industry.
This project is currently in the discovery and proposal phase, where Mako Professionals is developing a comprehensive plan and assembling the required team for a full SAP deployment. The project will integrate critical SAP functionalities across multiple operational areas-Procurement, Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting, Warehouse Management, and Project Management-to streamline processes for a network of 900 medical offices.
Following the discovery phase, the project is anticipated to launch in early 2025, with a targeted initial go-live by the end of 2025.
Types of Resources Needed:
- SAP Project Manager Responsible for overall project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to SAP Activate methodology and coordinating with C-level stakeholders.
- SAP FICO Consultant Focused on financial and controlling operations, handling multiple ledgers and complex accounting setups.
- SAP Asset Accounting Specialist Expertise in managing fixed assets within the SAP environment, ensuring accurate asset tracking and reporting.
- SAP Procurement Specialist Skilled in procurement workflows and automation, with an understanding of inventory integration.
- SAP SCM/EWM Consultant Manages warehouse operations, focusing on automated replenishment, virtual storage, and inventory visibility.
This project requires consultants with a strong foundation in SAP processes who can engage with stakeholders at all levels and adapt to the project's evolving demands.
Position Summary:
The SAP Procurement Specialist will lead procurement and inventory workflows, setting up automated procurement systems and improving integration between procurement and warehouse functions.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage SAP procurement processes, including automation and replenishment.
- Set up and maintain efficient procurement-to-pay processes.
- Work with EWM consultants to align procurement and inventory processes.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of SAP procurement experience, with a focus on automation.
- Knowledge of inventory management integration.
- Background in multi-location or healthcare supply chains is a plus.
