Essential Job Functions

• Lead and manage data conversion projects, with accountability for end-to-end data migration processes across multiple platforms.
• Conduct detailed data profiling and analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency in converted data.
• Design, create, and modify tables, views, functions, and triggers as part of data conversion requirements.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures to streamline data transformation and loading processes.
• Perform Import/Export operations for data across various databases, including mainframe and Oracle.
• Engage in comprehensive testing of converted data to validate data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and ensure smooth data integration.
• Document data conversion processes and provide insights for continuous improvement of conversion methodologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with at least 10 years of experience in SQL query writing.
• Proficient in using Oracle Data Integrator or equivalent tools for data integration.
• Strong knowledge of data profiling and analysis with 5 10 years of experience in Data Analysis.
• High attention to detail and adherence to quality standards for data accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for efficient troubleshooting.
• Positive, proactive attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with ANSI join syntax for advanced SQL queries.

Education

• Bachelor s or master s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in SQL query development, with demonstrated experience in complex data conversion projects at the enterprise level.
• Proven track record of managing or playing a core role in at least one successful data conversion.
• Comprehensive understanding of the data conversion lifecycle, including testing and quality assurance stages.
• Strong background working with large, diverse datasets from multiple platforms, such as mainframe and Oracle.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Full-time/Contract position. Days and hours of work are standard business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
