Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner
- Experience working as a Product Owner or closely collaborating with product owners
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Proficient in AWS services, including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and a solid understanding of the cloud operating model
- Extensive experience in Scrum and Kanban environments
- Agile Requirements Definition : Skilled in defining Epics and Stories, including both functional and technical requirements for product/service organizations
- Agile Metrics : Familiar with using metrics such as velocity and burndowns to improve team productivity
- Root Cause Analysis : Proficient in analyzing issues through logs, console errors, and other data to identify causes, prevent future problems, and implement resolutions
- In-depth understanding of Agile principles and processes
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective negotiator and collaborator with stakeholders to prioritize product backlog
- Creative thinker with great attention to detail
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner (TPO)
- Solid software development knowledge
- Expertise in Scrum practices and techniques, including Definition of Done, User Stories, Automated Testing, Backlog Refinement
- Familiarity with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean)
- Excellent servant leadership skills and ability to facilitate team growth and self-organization
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Scrum Master certification (CSM) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Backlog Management & Prioritization : Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the Release and Sprint Backlogs are well-defined and prioritized to allow the Scrum Team to deliver value sprint after sprint
- Story Preparation : Ensure the team has an adequate supply of well-prepared user stories to work on for each sprint
- Story Translation : Help the Product Owner and Product Manager translate vision and requirements into actionable Epics and User Stories that the Scrum Team can deliver incrementally
- Backlog Grooming : Assist in backlog management, iteration planning, and grooming user stories to ensure the team is always focused on the highest-value work aligned with product strategy
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with Product Management, UX, and other teams to ensure that user stories, UX requirements, and technical requirements (e.g., API creation, integrations, etc.) are clearly defined and captured
- Technical Story Creation : Write detailed technical stories (e.g., for system integration, API work, code refactoring) to ensure proper functionality and smooth product development
- Root Cause Analysis & Resolution : Lead the team in root cause analysis of production issues, ensuring appropriate resolution and implementation of preventive measures
- Agile Best Practices : Stay current with the latest Agile/Scrum trends and best practices, integrating them into the team's processes
- AWS Experience : Prioritize and manage work for products hosted on AWS; ensure the team understands AWS services and integrates them effectively into the product development cycle
