- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect with a specialization in AppEngine development.
- This pivotal role is designed for an expert whwill drive the architecture, development, and deployment of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly AppEngine, and demonstrate a proven ability tdeliver innovative solutions that align with our strategic business objectives.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, robust, and innovative custom applications using ServiceNow AppEngine.
- Develop technical architecture documents, high-level and detailed design specifications tguide development teams.
- Application Development & Implementation:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of application development on the ServiceNow platform, from concept tdeployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders tgather requirements and translate them inttechnical solutions using ServiceNow AppEngine.
- Ensure that applications are developed in accordance with best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
- Integration & Customization:
- Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and custom scripts.
- Customize and enhance existing ServiceNow applications tmeet evolving business needs.
- Leadership & Mentoring:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship tdevelopment teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Enable a citizen Developer community with corresponding best practices and predefined standard governance mechanisms
- Be the single point of contact for technical questions and guide through the Development journey
- Lead architectural review sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning efforts.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders talign ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
- Drive the adoption of new ServiceNow features and capabilities, staying current with platform advancements.
- Global Governance & Methodology:
- Work within the global ServiceNow platform governance framework, ensuring compliance with globally defined methodologies and processes.
- Adapt and implement global standards, guidelines, and best practices tmeet local requirements while maintaining alignment with overall governance.
- Participate in global governance meetings and contribute tthe continuous improvement of the ServiceNow governance model.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices for ServiceNow application development.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex ServiceNow issues in alignment with the global AMS.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of ServiceNow applications in alignment with the global AMS.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and architecture.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying custom applications using ServiceNow AppEngine.
- Extensive experience with AppEngine, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM modules of ServiceNow.
- Experience working within and adhering ta global IT governance framework.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow AppEngine, Flow Designer, UI Builder, and IntegrationHub.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).
- Strong understanding of API integration techniques and data management principles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for at least one ServiceNow module.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
