We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Security Manager with strong technical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security technical assessments, AWS environments, and guiding security engineers, along with the ability to track and manage deliverables effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in systems, applications, and networks.
  • Develop and implement robust security strategies and policies to protect organizational assets and data.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to security engineers, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed.
  • Oversee and manage security-related projects, ensuring deliverables are tracked, deadlines are met, and objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the development and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization s security posture.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the security awareness and skills of the team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the security status and progress of initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Extensive technical experience in conducting security assessments and audits.
  • Strong expertise in AWS security services and best practices.
  • Proven ability to guide and mentor security engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and track multiple security projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and GDPR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable.
