Position:# Patient Access Representative - Clinic Location:# Munster, IN# Job Summary: Under general supervision, coordinates services by performing patient access, registration, scheduling, insurance verification and predeterminations for patients. Interacts daily with patients, insurance carriers, physicians, and staff. Must be able to utilize Microsoft office applications, perform internet navigation and research, and have prior experience using a computerized health information system. Needs to be familiar with operating general office equipment, including but not limited to: scanner; fax machine; photocopy; printer and adding machine. Must demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills.
