Job Description: Sanctions Analytics The analyst will work primarily with the compliance team on: Analyzing data to identify key leverage points for improving our compliance strategy. Act as the analytics expert on compliance by staying up-to-date on industry regulations and trends. Metrics and KPI Expertise and Enhancements: Assist with preparation for regularly scheduled KPI reviews and leadership updates. Proactively share updates about ecosystem health and performance. Tableau Dashboards and Visualizations: Build, maintain, improve, and standardize Tableau dashboards and visualizations for data analysis and reporting. Anomaly Monitoring, Detection, and Alerting: Collaborate with Policy and Ops teams to monitor, detect, and alert on anomalies. Data Sources: Implementation & maintenance of data pipelines. Defining requirements for data engineers for large initiatives. Requires a strong knowledge of sanctions compliance, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations In this role you'll be required to: Transform data into actionable insights for various stakeholders. Design, track, and evaluate KPIs across all operations. Maintain regular communication with leadership, peers, and stakeholders, emphasizing feasible goals and trackable business results. Collaborate extensively with data engineers to ensure consistent access to reliable data for stakeholders. Create your own ETLs when quick solutions are required. Visualize and effectively communicate findings through building dashboards. Deliver oral and written briefings to leaders and key stakeholders. Collaborate and influence cross-functional partners (policy teams, product management, data analytics, operations, engineering, and algorithms) to identify, assess, and resolve issues related to your products. Stay updated on trust and safety trends, emerging fraud threats, and new systems and tools to enhance risk prevention and detection capabilities for our platform and products.
