Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee software development projects for our client, the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), located in Rockville, MD. This role emphasizes Agile Development and managing IT and software development projects while leveraging cybersecurity and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT project management, Agile frameworks, and technical knowledge across cybersecurity and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Agile software development projects to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
  • Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to refine project goals and deliverables.
  • Utilize knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure to guide project strategies and technical solutions.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks effectively to all levels within the organization and client teams.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of IT Project Management experience, with a proven track record in software development projects.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Master s Degree in a related discipline or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required; holding both is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Federal Government clients, especially in health or human services domains.
  • Proven ability to guide teams in Agile methodologies, identify project risks, and drive project solutions.
  • Expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
