BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst for an opportunity in Nutley, NJ Hybrid Position (2 Days onsite)

Position Title: Business Analyst

Location: Nutley, NJ Hybrid Position (2 Days onsite)

Anticipated Start Date: November/December

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 06+ months contract (with possible extension)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Hybrid Position (2 Days onsite)

Pay Range: $60/Hr - $75/Hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Business Analyst

Data Analytics with Pharma Domain experience

Job Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements in the commercial area (Pharma) specifically in data analytics space. These includes assessing the business model and its integration with technology, gathering, and synthesizing information. You will also be expected to collaborate with technical team, vendors and client stakeholders and contribute to key decisions. Expert proficiency in Requirements Analysis is required, Advanced proficiency in Life Sciences Commercial area, and Business Process Analysis Tools.

  1. Requirements Gathering: Engaging with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements related to data analytics.
  2. Data Interpretation: Analyzing complex data sets to derive insights that will help the technical team in their design
  3. Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between technical teams (data engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (e.g. management, marketing, data analytics).
  4. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve business processes through data analytics.


Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing Business Needs: Understanding and translating business objectives into data requirements.
  2. Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analysis.
  3. Creating Documentation: Developing user stories, use cases, and process documentation to guide data projects.
  4. Testing and Validation: Collaborating with QA teams to test analytics solutions and ensure they meet business requirements.
  5. Training and Support: Providing training or support to end-users on analytics tools and insights.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Monitoring outcomes of analytics projects and recommending enhancements based on feedback and changing business needs.
  7. Collaboration: Working with data engineers/architect to ensure that the technical solutions align with business requirements.

Nice to have: Knowledge on Data Kitchen Platform/SQL
