We are seeking an Agile Release Manager who is well versed in product ownership to join our growing Technology Solutions division. This position demands a deep understanding of IT strategy, technology solutions, project management, business analysis, and Agile application. To be successful, you'll need a deep understanding of, and experience in:

  • IT product development & strategy
  • Agile frameworks
  • Business analysis
  • Coaching/consulting with senior managers

With these skills, you'll help our client re-define their IT service delivery in a more Agile way for web services, engineering, operations, security, emerging technology, and business line specific IT services. You'll apply your expertise to help design a custom Agile model and coach individuals through its adoption. Further, you'll also apply principles of change management, organizational design, and human capital consulting to affect that change.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Facilitate sprint planning, standups, story grooming, and fun retrospectives
  • Help train newly minted Product Owners on Agile values, frameworks, and tools
  • Monitor team progress by utilizing KPIs such as burndown chart, velocity and cumulative flow diagram.
  • Assist with Program increment planning
  • Help monitor team and program level risks, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Facilitate sprint reviews & demos
  • Facilitate writing of user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and other story elements
  • Assist the product owner with story prioritization and backlog management
  • Work towards increasing team velocity and sprint capacity
  • Mentor/coach clients in Agile/Scrum best practices
Required Experience
  • Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor s degree
  • 5+ years of experience with release management
  • Experience with executing in Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a SAFe environment
