We are looking for an Account Manager to join a Energy Software Business, working with customers in the US. You will report to the Account Director, UK, and be responsible for overall client accountability, commercials, communication, and customer satisfaction. You will also work very closely with pre-sales, marketing, support, and professional service teams. Training is on-the-job.
Hybrid working in Houston, TX.
Responsbilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Maintain and update all assigned accounts and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Open to travel across US regions for customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction and to obtain further opportunities.
- Review annual renewals quotes and follow up on invoices for finance in case of escalations.
- Prepare quotes, delivery dates, and payment schedule and arrange for installation of services as appropriate.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with our existing client base to become a trusted advisor.
- Help existing customers attain success by using the products and services to their full potential.
- Understand customer business and how CubeLogic products help them, proactively seek further sales opportunities.
- Be the voice of the customer, collaborate internally to ensure the customer gets the best service.
- Quarterly review meetings with customers to provide CubeLogic updates, and product offerings, gather feedback/suggestions, and identify action items for both sides.
- Interact with the Professional Services, Product Development, and Support teams for appropriate support.
- Participate in planning, driving attendance, and executing marketing activities including Webinars, Seminars, and other Client events.
- Create Account Plans for each of the allocated accounts.
- Schedule Surveys – Customer Satisfaction and Project Feedback.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business, general management, or another related field.
- High energy, a strong desire to over-achieve, and keen to learn and grow.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding assigned objectives and targets.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and the ability to engage, collaborate, and influence key account stakeholders both internal and external.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Enterprise Software Sales.
- Strong business writing and verbal communications skills.
- Experience in energy and commodities markets is a plus.
