A global cross-border payments company are offering the opportunity for a Director of Business Development to join their team.
This would suit someone who is familiar with cross-border payment platforms and has won business in the e-commerce, gaming, ERP, and advertising industries.
Key Responsibilities of the Director of Business Development:
- Acquire and onboard new customers in e-commerce, gaming, ERP, and advertising firms who require a cross-border payments platform
- Develop new lead generation opportunities for direct selling as well as affiliate and partnership sales.
- Identify new verticals for market expansion in the cross-border fintech space
- Generate and achieve monthly region/segment forecasts and exceed targets.
- Explore new business segments and define go to market strategies for these segments.
- Build and develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
Key requirements of the Director of Business Development:
- 10+ years experience in BD, service and/or solution sales, and account management
- Industry experience in the payments sector is a must
- Track record of closing deals for enterprises, mass payouts and APIs.
- An established network of partners and prospects across the US is required.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding business-established goals.
- Experience in leading complex negotiations with CxOs of large and enterprise accounts.
- Ability to drive operational excellence through innovative initiatives.
This is a hybrid role in New York, and the team are offering a base of $150,000 alongside a great commission structure and wider package.
