Sr. ServiceNow Developer
We are currently seeking a Mid and Sr. ServiceNow Developer for a full-time remote position supporting a government client.
Summary of requirements:
Develops the application including more complex configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable
Performs custom development (as required) and 3rd party integrations
Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution
Carries out migration of the changes to production
Assists with technical design and documentation
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirement.
The following experience is required :
Years of Experience: 6+ years ServiceNow Development experience
Experience with ServiceNow platform development, including ServiceNow Scripting (Client Scripts, Server Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, etc.).
Understanding of JavaScript.
Strongly Desired:
Proficiency in JavaScript, including knowledge of ECMAScript 5/6/7 standards.
Understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and methodologies.
Knowledge of ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP) and integrations with third-party systems.
Familiarity with ServiceNow UI development (UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, etc.).
Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development for creating custom user interfaces.
Understanding of ServiceNow data model and database schema (tables, relationships, fields, etc.).
Proficiency in ServiceNow Service Catalog configuration and development.
Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (IT Service Management) processes and modules.
Ability to develop ServiceNow custom applications and modules using Application Designer.
Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) for automated testing.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
Understanding of ServiceNow Security and Access Controls.
Proficiency in ServiceNow administration tasks, including instance configuration, user management, and system maintenance.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills specific to ServiceNow platform.
The following experience is desirable :
2+ years of developing and implementing ServiceNow APIs, or equivalent API experience with other products.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Certification : At least one ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification & Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
