Job Title: Senior Acquisition Analyst

Location: Alexandria, VA, US

Salary: $135,000.00 To $160,000.00 Annually

Essential functions:

  • Acquisition support for design, development and delivery of the next generation DDS
  • Perform acquisition strategy and plan development, procurement package development and provide quality assurance and support for acquisition related processes, ensuring program requirements identified on DoD Directive 5000.01 are met
  • Support in execution of all phases of government contracting from Pre-Award, Award, to Post-Award
  • Data collection, analysis, documentation management, and administrative functions associated with contract development, award and execution
  • Serve as subject matter expert pertaining to developing acquisition documentation. Items to include acquisition plans, requirements development, CONOPs, product support strategy, test strategy, drafting and/or reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs), proposal/bid assessment, soliciting all communications associated with awarding a contract, and managing the review/organization of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries.
  • Interface with industry and government representatives such as NAVSEA/PEO Acquisition Professionals, SOCOM and WARCOM stakeholders, NAVSEA stakeholders, and DDS and HOSUB Planning Yards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Support and accompany PMS390 clients in ADHOC meetings, often requiring travel or in office support.

Required education and experience:

  • Active SECRET DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field
  • At least 10 years of federal government procurement/acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense and associated acquisition processes.

Preferred education and experience:

  • Experience with acquisition documents, proposal/bid assessment, and cost/schedule analysis
  • Knowledge of Deep Submergence Systems Scope of Certification
  • Familiarity with Department of Navy and NAVSEA
  • DAU Program Management Level II or III desired
  • Program/project management experience
  • Navy Program Office experience
  • Experience with CDRL management, creating and routing Purchase Requests (PRs), and authoring Statements of Work (SOW)

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

  • A Secret Clearance is required. A top-secret clearance is preferred.
