  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee all floodplain management policies and procedures

Conduct flood risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies on residential property

Collaborate with local agencies, community stakeholders, and state of Florida flood assessment practices

Prepare and submit reports on changes in flood data

Temporary position can range from 1 week to 3 months.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

3 years of floodplain manager experience required

ASFPM Floodplains Manager Certification preferred

Certified Floodplain Manager (CPM) certification preferred

Ability to follow federal and state floodplain regulations and policies

Availability as soon as possible preferred, but additional opportunities available in the future
