We have been retained by our client, an award-winning, mid-sized Engineering Firm in the Charlotte, NC area, to find a Building Automation Designer. This role will be responsible for designing and supporting building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, and access control systems.

Duties:

- Develop detailed design and installation plans for building automation systems.

- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate implementation of system designs.

- Provide technical support during project execution and system commissioning.

- Prepare and review system documentation, including control diagrams and sequences.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in building automation system design.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant software for automation systems.

- Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and access control systems.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
