V-Tron Electronics Corporation is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our team in our Attleboro location. The Cost Estimator is a key member of the Quoting department who will establish standard routings and costed parts list associated with customer provided documentation.
The ideal candidate will be curious, have a strong attention to detail and passion for customer success.
Responsibilities:
Establish material costs to prescribe customer parameters by soliciting bids from suppliers. Build standard parts list in V-Tron Electronics parts list database. Documents costs in parts master database. Develop standard routings by identifying required operations on customer blueprints in the most efficient way possible.

Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2-years assembly, supervisory or management experience in manufacture of wire harnesses/cable assembly operations
Skills Required:
- Must possess a working knowledge of windows-based software including but not limited to MS word, MS excel and MS outlook
- Have in-depth understanding related to output of process equipment and techniques related to wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing
- Communicate well with specific engineering departments assigned to develop and prove time standards for operations relating to cable and wire harness assembly
- Exhibit strong negotiating and communications skills with external suppliers
- Must be well organized and precise in documenting and storing data related to material cost, and time estimates
- Meet the experience criteria documented above.
- Must display in depth understanding of assembly techniques associated with cable and wire harness assembly
