Purpose

We are looking for someone to drive the successful delivery of work by optimizing the software development processes. This role will help a team identify and remove impediments that impact their ability to deliver effectively, provide visibility into delivery execution by monitoring the health of the delivery pipeline, facilitate development of Agile practices, and increase communication and collaboration. This role is critical to the overall success of the organization s ability to meet customer needs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple software development projects or workstreams
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding
  • Offer appropriate process insights and suggestions with a servant-leadership approach to team improvement
  • Ensure projects or workstreams align with organizational strategies
  • Develop risk assessment methodologies to anticipate and mitigate threats to successful delivery
  • Lead the discussion and implementation of process change management
  • Facilitate the delivery of delivery roadmaps with key organizational stakeholders
  • Own the reporting of delivery success metrics as defined by the organization and teams
  • Work to minimize administrative overhead, but when it is necessary, ensure that it is well-run and efficient
  • Encourage a culture of team-drive decision making, collaborative commitments, knowledge sharing, and innovation
  • Actively participate in building a diverse and inclusive team founded on trust and respect
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Delivery Manager in a dynamic and rapidly scaling organization
  • Good general understanding of how software systems are designed, built, tested, deployed, and delivered into the hands of customers
  • Deep understanding of multiple Agile frameworks and hands-on experience applying them across multiple teams
  • Strong experience with delivery and go-to-market methods and metrics
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and guide teams, peers, and stakeholders towards best practices and continuous improvement
  • Experience coaching and mentoring other delivery managers to enhance their proficiency and self-organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on proactive identification of challenges and creative solutions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and other teams effectively
  • Skilled in resolving conflicts and facilitating difficult conversations, building and promoting healthy interpersonal relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple Agile tools, like Jira, with the ability to customize workflows and reports
