The Product Engineering team is 70+ engineering professionals across UK, US, Mexico and Malaysia.
The Role
As the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering, you will be a key driver of our technical vision and strategy, leading our Identity & Fraud Product Engineering teams to achieve outstanding outcomes. This role requires a seasoned technical leader who not only champions technology-driven products but also inspires and empowers teams to deliver impactful results. You will focus on creating simple, effective team structures and fostering an environment where engineering excellence is the norm.

- Develop and execute a technical strategy that empowers teams to focus on outcomes, rather than being overly process-driven.
- Advocate for simple, effective team topologies, avoiding unnecessary specialization to maintain agility and flexibility.
- Shape and modernize our technology stack, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and future-ready
Outcome-Driven Engineering:
- Shift focus from traditional Agile processes and outputs to empowering teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Ensure that engineering practices across the organization are aligned with a strong, well-defined philosophy of excellence.
- Lead by example, showing what "good" looks like in engineering, while fostering diverse opinions and approaches within the team.
Multi-Product/Team Leadership:
- Bring extensive experience in leading engineering efforts across multi-product and multi-team organizations.
- Drive improvements in team performance, product delivery, and overall engineering efficiency in complex environments.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Skilfully manage input from diverse stakeholders, shaping it into actionable strategies that align with the company s objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure engineering efforts are well-integrated with broader business goals.
Performance Management at Scale:
- Oversee performance management across the engineering organization, implementing systems and processes that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Bring a proven track record of managing performance at scale, with experience in large, complex teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering, with proven experience in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, multi-product engineering organizations, with a focus on technical innovation and outcome-driven results.
- Deep experience in creating simple, effective team structures and avoiding over-specialization.
- Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to inspire and lead teams, championing a technology-driven approach to product development.
- Strong, opinionated engineering philosophy, with a clear vision of what "good" looks like in software engineering.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate and synthesize diverse inputs into cohesive strategies.
