Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, scripting, and systems integration. As an Automation Engineer at FSS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve operational efficiency and support our clients needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Document automation processes and provide training to team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation and related technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure and telecommunications.
