POSITION: IT Administrator (On-Site)
LOCATION: LaPlatte, NE
PAY RANGE: Based on experience
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Service computer users by establishing a point of contact to report problems or address questions; perform related work as required or assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coordinate and execute help desk activities
Provide support to local and remote end users, in a timely manner
Assign, log, analyze and track problems to final solution
Maintain documentation, network diagrams, hardware and software configurations and inventories, and other related information
Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in active directory
Trouble shoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues
Perform software, hardware, and device updates according to spec
Configure, manage, and deploy workstations with minimal impact to the user
Maintenance of phone and internet connections
Maintain network security measures
Prepare reports related to help desk activity for management review and action
Contribute to the team effort
Maintain company reputation
Secure confidential and intellectual information
Perform all occupational safety and hazard procedures in conjunction with all essential duties
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
Supporting Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint)
Microsoft servers and Windows group policies
Antivirus protection, Antispyware client and server and firewalls
Microsoft, SQL, and ADP applications Coreslab policies and procedures relating to IT
Occupational hazards and proper safety precautions
Skills in:
Prioritization, time-management, planning, and organization
AWS cloud computing environment
General virtualization experience including VMware, HyperV
Computer hardware components and networking concepts
Network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, cabling, and switches
Root cause analysis and resolution
Professionalism
Communication
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employee may be exposed to:
Moving mechanical/electrical parts and equipment
Fumes or airborne particles
Vibration
Metal preservatives
Oils and greases
Loud noise
Heat/cold/wet conditions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of helpdesk, end user support and troubleshooting experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities of this classification.
Employee must be able to work overtime on short notice of which could exceed 8 hours per shift and/or 40 hours per work week.
