Job Description:
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Email Security Engineer to assess and enhance our email security infrastructure. The role involves conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of our existing systems and developing a strategic roadmap to elevate our email security posture. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industry-leading email security tools, with practical experience in Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Office 365. This role requires expertise in next-generation email security solutions, with a strong emphasis on devising innovative, secure email strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Gap Analysis: Evaluate the current email security infrastructure, identifying and analyzing gaps and potential vulnerabilities.
Roadmap Development: Develop a forward-looking, strategic roadmap to address identified gaps and improve the organization's email security landscape.
Product Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations on new tools, products, and vendor solutions to enhance email security.
Process Documentation: Establish and document processes, policies, and guidelines for email security management and operations.
Tool Management and Implementation: Manage, maintain, and oversee the Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Office 365 email systems, while exploring and potentially implementing next-generation email security solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Extensive experience with email security tools such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Office 365 email management.
Strong knowledge of advanced email security technologies, including next-generation email protection solutions.
Proven track record in conducting gap analyses, building roadmaps, and delivering tangible improvements in email security.
Exceptional communication and documentation skills to create detailed, structured processes and security protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with emerging email security vendors and tools that can complement or enhance existing systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex security challenges.
