We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to join the team. This role is ideal for a motivated, self-driven individual with a proven background in commercial HVAC sales and established relationships with owners, engineers, and mechanical contractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating and managing long-term client and manufacturer relationships with minimal oversight, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with owners, engineers, and contractors.
  • Leverage technical expertise to establish credibility and trust with clients, demonstrating commitment to their needs.
  • Provide contractors with training and project-specific assistance for optimal product application.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, offering tailored product solutions and system designs that drive sales.
  • Engage in regular travel to customer offices and project sites, with minimal in-office time required.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring client satisfaction from project inception to completion.
  • Analyze specific customer needs to develop and execute customized account business plans.
  • Drive market penetration and influence project designs, specifications, and drawings to establish the Basis of Design (BOD) for the products.
  • Stay updated on HVAC industry fundamentals and product innovations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years in a client-facing HVAC sales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new product knowledge to generate sales.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and handling complex situations effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in closing sales.
  • Onsite as required.
