Serve as a specialist in Federal contracting to assist NAVWAR to research, analyze, develop, and implement contracting / acquisitions related policies and procedures. Work may include but not limited to contracting / procurement method, determining supply requirements, evaluation, supplies, and purchase terms.
Salary Range: $75K - $80K
Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- DAWIA Contracting Level II or FAC-C Certification Level I or Industry equivalent (e.g., CPCM or CFCM).
- Experience conducting pre- and post-award contract actions.
- Monitoring and evaluating supplies performance and compliances.
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and trends.
- Assist in contract negotiations and drafting procurement agreements.
- Creating and maintain procurement reports and dashboards.
Mandatory:
- Bachelor s degree in any technical, managerial, or business discipline or a related subject and relevant experience.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- Complete all mandatory training requirements per NAVWAR.
- Valid state driver s license.
- Ability to work additional hours as business needs dictate.
- Must meet baseline information assurance (IA) certification requirements for an IAT Level II position per DoD 8570.01-M (Security+ or equivalent).
- Active SECRET Security Clearance
- Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
