Job Description
Junior Systems Analyst/Integrator (Space Control Trainer/Evaluator) to support activities associated with the training and evaluation support to U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC). The junior systems analyst/integrator will provide direct support through the 1st Space Brigade to include the 1st and 2nd Space Battalions for the Army Space Support Team (ARSST), Space Control Planning Teams (SCPT,) and Space Control platoons. Support activities are associated with the Domain 3 contract (D3i). Work location is Fort Carson, CO.
Responsibilities:
The Junior systems analyst/integrator provides relevant technical expertise through daily planning, coordination, training development, evaluation, and technical analysis for established and emerging 1st Space Brigade ARSST, SCPT, and space control mission areas. The trainer will support computer-based training and provide formal training or workshops in a classroom or field setting. The trainer will support developing training objectives, related training policies and documents, and evaluate ARSST/SCPT/Space control platoon performance in accomplishing those objectives by serving as an Observer, Controller and Trainer (OCT) during exercises and pre-deployment training. Travel may be required to domestic and international destinations; up to 20%.
Minimum Requirements:
At a minimum should have six (6) or more years of general experience integrating equipment and software for operational, testing, or demonstration purposes and with analyzing systems and technologies related to one or more of the task order designated disciplines and a high school diploma or GED.
Experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above.
A bachelor's degree or four (4) years experience or a master's degree and (2) years experience combined with the task order related experience may be used in lieu of the above stated experience requirements.
Knowledge of space and missile defense systems and military applications of space and missile defense systems and a working knowledge of military and ground operations is required.
Must have an active DoD TS/SCI
Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate s qualifications (skills, education & experience) and the position level ($62,100 - $86,125).
