Work you'll do

We are seeking a Contingency Plan Coordinator to serve as the overall IT contingency lead for our IT infrastructure management project. This role involves supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our information technology (IT) infrastructure through an Information Technology Enterprise Infrastructure Management (ITEIM) task order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ISCP Development and Coordination:
    • Manage the development of the Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) by coordinating efforts with subject matter experts and organizational elements responsible for related plans, such as the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Incident Response Plan, IT Disaster Recovery Plan (ITDRP), and Crisis Communication Plan.
    • Work closely with the Cyber Security Office's Disaster Recovery Program Management Office (DR PMO).
    • Serve as the lead for disaster recovery (DR) testing and manage restoration and recovery measures if the ITDRP is activated.
  • Plan Creation and Maintenance:
    • Create the ISCP in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-34 Rev. 1, Contingency Planning Guide for Federal Information Systems, using the template for a Moderate Information System Contingency Plan.
    • Assist in updating and maintaining the Business Impact Analysis.
    • Maintain existing DR application and infrastructure profile sheets.
  • Testing and Exercises:
    • Lead disaster recovery tests when needed.
    • Update and maintain the Disaster Recovery Test Management Plan (DRTMP).
    • Update and maintain the Disaster Recovery Testing Isolation Playbook.
    • Plan and execute the annual Disaster Recovery Tabletop Exercise.
    • Plan and execute the annual functional Disaster Recovery Test.
    • Draft and deliver the annual DR Test After-Action Report within 30 days of the completion of the annual disaster recovery test.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1 year of experience as a contingency planner or relevant experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Travel up to 10%


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $68,000 to $102,000.
