  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Power BI Report Writer - (Mostly onsite/someHybrid)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Writer. This role will be responsible for creating and managing interactive, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI and requires a deep understanding of data analysis and data visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Report Design
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements and provide critical insights
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in reports through thorough data validation and quality checks
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and data visualization to continually improve reporting capabilities

User Training
  • Provide training and support to business users on navigating and interpreting Power BI reports

Effective Communication
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and deliver reports that provide actionable insights

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Report Writer, with a portfolio of reports/dashboards that demonstrate your expertise
  • Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner
  • Proficiency in DAX and Power Query M language
  • Experience with data privacy and security practices related to business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Power BI certification
  • Experience with other BI tools and analytics software
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Services
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
