Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Duration: (3-5 months)
Location: Mountain View, CA
Work Schedule: 8 AM PST - 5 PM PST
Responsible for receiving, verifying, and managing materials, returns, and supplies in compliance with GMP/ISO regulations. Prepares and audits kits, packages products, and oversees shipments following departmental procedures. Maintains inventory, tracks shipments, and ensures a safe, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and warehouse incoming materials.
- Verify goods against documentation and update inventory databases.
- Prepare and audit kits, pack, label, and ship products with correct documentation.
- Determine shipping methods and costs for miscellaneous items.
- Operate material handling equipment and lift items up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Store and control chemicals using special handling procedures.
- Maintain an audit-ready, organized workspace.
- Generate tracking reports and communicate product status to relevant teams.
- Perform various support duties, including inventory checks, supply requisitions, and emergency shipments.
Required Skills:
- Ability to lift upto 50 pounds.
- Data entry and basic computer skills.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or clerical work, ideally in a medical manufacturing setting.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of company procedures; medical device experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork, multitasking abilities, and adaptability.
- Dependable, with regular and punctual attendance.
