Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP FSM (Field Service Management) Architect to
lead the design and implementation of SAP FSM as part of a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA
implementation in the telecommunications sector. This role involves architecting a
comprehensive field service management solution that integrates seamlessly with SAP
S/4HANA to optimize service delivery, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction.
The SAP FSM Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the FSM
solution meets the unique demands of telecom field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FSM
within a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA environment, aligning with business goals and
industry best practices.
Define end-to-end FSM processes, including service order management,
resource planning, scheduling, and mobile service execution, tailored to telecom-
specific field service needs.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP FSM with SAP S/4HANA core modules (SD,
MM, PM), CRM, and other third-party systems, enabling efficient data flow and
operational transparency.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide
expert guidance on the FSM solution, focusing on optimal service management,
workforce productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and manage the FSM implementation roadmap, including project
milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Oversee the creation and testing of mobile field service solutions, ensuring they
align with field technicians needs and enable real-time data access and updates.
Establish and enforce best practices for data migration, testing, change
management, and training to support a successful go-live.
Provide thought leadership and mentorship to the SAP FSM project team,
guiding them through complex configurations and FSM-specific processes.
Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and
scalability of the FSM solution within the telecom landscape.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business
Administration, or a related field; a Master s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP Field Service Management with a
strong background in S/4HANA implementations, particularly in Greenfield
projects within the telecom industry.
SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP FSM and S/4HANA with extensive
knowledge of integration with SD, PM, and CRM modules.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of telecommunications field operations,
including remote service management, asset tracking, and regulatory
compliance.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP BTP for advanced integration needs, SAP
Fiori, and mobile solutions for field service.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with a
collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
SAP FSM Certification and/or SAP S/4HANA Certification.
Experience with field service automation, IoT, and predictive maintenance.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and project management frameworks.
