Job Description -

Title: Peoplesoft Payroll Developer
Location: Remote - candidate will need to be available, accessible, and responsive between the hours of 8:00 am 5:00 pm PT regardless of their current time zone

Must have exp in Payroll, Time and Labor, and the Absence Management experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 7 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x.
  • Experience working on at least 2 large-scale system implementation projects involving many users and multiple locations.
  • Advanced experience in Payroll, Time and Labor, and Absence Management for PeopleSoft HCM applications.
  • Deep experience and understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM data model.
  • Proficiency in Application Engine, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with data integration and specification of data services.
  • Experience developing conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Strong experience leading and collaborating on projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools and integration technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in BI Publisher.
  • Strong technical writing skills for documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and debug complex software.
  • Familiarity with new Fluid technology (Activity Guide, Related Content, Drop Zones, and Tiles) is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, modify, and debug highly complex software systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
  • Prepare and approve system and programming documentation.
  • Oversee and initiate changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
  • Provide advanced production support, participate in on-call support rotations, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Perform analysis to resolve recurring system issues and defects.
  • Write technical documentation to support system changes and project development.
  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
