Job Description:
Position Title: Senior Business Architect/ Program Lead
Location: Office/Remote: Phoenix, AZ. (Local to Arizona preferred; Desert Southwest; As close to Arizona time zone as possible; candidate would be asked to travel into Phoenix and mining locations as required (up to 25% travel))
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Business Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions that align with strategic goals. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, deep technical knowledge, and specialized expertise in laboratory and material analysis systems to drive the success of complex projects and guide cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of scalable, robust, and secure business solutions, with a focus on laboratory and material analysis systems.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of solutions to ensure they meet business needs, performance standards, and security requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution architectures and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing laboratory and material analysis systems (StarLIMS Experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
